LESSGO!
on a Hike:
Listening Experience
My Role: Creative Director, Designer, Performing Artist
Tools: Photoshop, Illustrator, Powerpoint, Logic Pro X, Various AI Tools
For the release of LESSGO!, my seven-track EP as MMW, we turned the project’s themes of emotional baggage into an immersive summer camp-inspired listening experience. Guests explored three interactive installations, custom merch, games and signage before the journey ended with a live performance.
The EP
We created an immersive listening experience inspired by the project’s central idea: embracing the emotional baggage we carry. That metaphor became a physical “hike” through three interactive installations, custom signage, merch and outdoor games, all designed around the EP’s themes and symbolism.
Interactive Installations
Dual Listening Booth
Inspired by “Earl Baddies”
“What’s your favorite vinyl I think I got that one too, swear it right hand on the Bible, I think you could be my boo…”
A shared listening booth that brought the song’s theme of connection through music to life. Two guests listened to the same CD together, creating an intimate moment through music.
Self-Love Mirror
Inspired by “Sips Tea”
“I'm a king/queen, I'm a star, I'm a revolutionary, I'm tea, I’m the water, I'm the teapot…”
A self-affirmation mirror that brought the song’s message of confidence to life. Guests saw the lyrics reflected over their own image, turning them into personal affirmations.
The Prayer Tree
Inspired by “Crucifixed”
“I just wanna get so high that I feel your warm embrace… my pearly whites at them golden gates…”
A prayer tree that brought the song’s spiritual reflection into a shared ritual. Guests wrote down prayers and manifestations, then hung them from the tree as a collective expression of hope and intention.
Social Rollout
We promoted the experience through a mix of high-production video, lo-fi iPhone content and static design, all extending the EP’s visual world and building anticipation for the event.
